Rainsville industrial park & development
A variety of sites are available for development at Rainsville’s industrial park. Our volunteer industrial development board, the mayor and city council, and other local, regional and state economic development partners are well known for working hard to meet the needs of potential park tenants.
The industrial park (see photos below) on the east side of town is home to Rainsville Church Pew Company, Rainsville Technology Inc (RTI), EIS – a member of the Vincit Group, ABC Hospice, a Mayfield Dairy Farms distribution center, DeKalb Refrigeration, Emerson Industrial Automation and a snack-food distribution center.
Another industrial/manufacturing area on the north side of town is home to Waste Processing Equipment (Max-Pak), and Blue Scope Buildings (VP Buildings).
To contact the city’s Industrial Development Board, contact the Mayor’s office at 256-638-6331, or the Chamber of Commerce at 256-638-7800.

Our business district is an excellent choice for new retail ventures, expanding enterprises, or office relocation. It spans six-plus miles along Alabama Highway 35 (Main Street), and over 3.5 miles along Alabama Highway 75 (McCurdy Avenue). Traffic counts range from about 9,000 to over 15,000 vehicles per day depending on the location.
Currently, there are several properties available for sale and/or lease. The number of available lots and buildings changes continually, and the listings previously found on this page are not currently available.
